Holy One, I come in between the raindrops. As they fall upon your land and in my heart, I know how much I need you. There is not a day when I don’t call out to you to comfort and to protect me. There’s not a moment that I don’t look for your assurance. On the days that I feel broken, you provide the salve and bind me up.
Lord, there is no Healer like you, please forgive my doubt. Keep my mind from wandering and my spirit from questioning. I know your faithfulness and yet I still attempt to grab hold of life’s challenges. Show me the way to be a good steward of all the resources that you pour within me. Guide me to let go and allow you to do your perfect work.
You are the Master of my life and Creator of my world. You know me better than I know myself. There is no way you do not see me, even when I hide. Bolster my hope and strengthen my resolve to be faithful as you are faithful to me. Show me the Way as you fill me with your Truth and shape the Life you desire me to live. You are the solid ground upon which I stand. I pray in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
