Lord of all creation, be in our hearts and minds. We praise you for the moments when we feel you close, or hear you in the song of a bird. We adore you for the moments set aside to watch your majesty in the mystery of a rainbow after the storm. We know you in the gentle purrs of a kitten about to fall into sleep.
Most of all, we thank you for meeting us in prayer as we call out to you. There is nothing we cannot bring to you. Nowhere you will not go to find us. In your love, we find our true home. Guide our thoughts and actions to keep us safe in this new year. Show us your heart when we lose our way. Comfort us in times of pain and sorrow.
You are our anchor in sunshine and in rain. Your presence alone brings us the peace we need. Be in us and we will be whole.
