Worship with us Sunday 9:30am

In-Person & Online

This Sunday the first Sunday of the month and we will be receiving Communion.

If you are watching online, we invite you to gather some bread and juice to participate in Communion with us during worship.

Coming January 2023!

Stewardship is sponsoring an all-church study in January called “Defying Gravity”.

Do you feel weighed down by things that you have accumulated, or struggle with a desire for more? Are you tempted by enticing images featured in targeted advertising? Do you want to be more generous in giving, but wonder how you could manage to make what feels like a sacrifice? Tom Berlin understands that growing in mature faith regarding generosity is a process. In the study “Defying Gravity, Pastor Berlin encourages us to let go of the pursuit of our culture’s views of “the good life” in order to embrace the deeper happiness of a great life. (Courtesy of UMC Discipleship Ministries)

We will be using Tom Berlin’s Defying Gravity Study to grow in discipleship and generosity. In addition to Pastor Maria’s related sermon series, we are asking small groups to participate as well.

Please contact Tammy Kapeller at or (913) 219-7137 or Cindy Svec at to receive more information and a leader’s guide. If you are interested in joining a group, please let Tammy or Cindy know!

You’re Invited to a Baby Shower for Baby Jesus!

Missions Team Fundraiser SCRIP Program

Next SCRIP orders due Dec 4 and Dec 11

SCRIP gift cards work at your favorite retailers, restaurants and for your Amazon orders.  A $25 gift card costs you $25 and has $25 value.  It is easy to participate.  The missions team makes a percentage of each scrip gift card purchased.

Now is a great time to start picking up a few gift cards for Holiday gift giving and for your Christmas shopping. Pick up a SCRIP order form on the kiosk in Fellowship Hall.

Mittens for Mahaffie

Donate new mittens, gloves and winter hats for the children at Mahaffie Elementary School.

Children and adult sizes are needed.

Drop off donations in the tub at the Missions Table or clip your donation to the “Missions Wall of Giving”.

Thank you for supporting our community partners!
