Due to the extreme weather conditions expected and for the safety of our volunteers and congregation, the Lenten Journey Bag distribution scheduled for Sunday February 14th from 9:30-noon at Heritage House parking lot has been CANCELED. The bags will be delivered to the homes of our congregation early next week. Please watch for them to arrive on your porch before Ash Wednesday. NOTICE: Due to the arctic temperatures and the saftey of our volunteers, we will not have Curbside Drop off this Sunday, February 14th. Please drop items by the church office during our regular hours, Monday 9-11, Tuesday and Thursday 9-Noon. The Missions team will resume curbside drop off on Sundays’ when the weather temps warm up a bit. ______________________________
Heritage UMC Missions Team February Project During the month of February, we will be collecting hygiene items to be placed in “Hope Totes” for our community partners. Full sized hygiene items needed include: Toothpaste Toothbrush Shampoo Deodorant Bar soap Wash Cloth Comb Disposable Razors Donate a complete kit which would include 1 of each item listed or you can donate 8 toothbrushes, 5 full sized toothpaste, 6 deodorants, etc. Questions, contact Cindy Svec, cindys@heritageumc.org ________________________________
