Adult Small Groups
At Heritage United Methodist Church, we invite all adults to take the next step on their Faith Journey by participating in a small group. A variety of small groups are offered to help members connect with others of similar interests, enjoy fellowship time, work together on service projects, study the Bible, grow in their Faith development and much more. We hope you will consider joining a small group today!
For more information, check out the Adult Discipleship Brochure with detailed information about Adult classes and small groups resuming Fall 2014.

Children’s Sunday School
The growth of our children’s faith is very important to Heritage. We offer an extensive children’s Sunday School program that provides our children with creative and exciting methods to learn about God’s love and grace.
Welcome to Youth Ministries at Heritage! We’re focused on helping students (grades 6-12) to understand this crazy life and how their relationship with Jesus Christ gives them hope. The goal of our Youth Ministry is to create safe and meaningful opportunities where students can Love God, Love the World, and Love YOU.
Our youth group strives to incorporate good news (worship and faith development), good works (works of mercy and justice) and good times (fellowship) in all that we do!
There are times in everyone’s life when we need the care of another person, a Christian friend, someone like a Stephen Minister. These needs include but are not limited to:
- Terminally ill and their families
- People grieving the death and loss of a loved one
- Homebound and institutionalized
- Experiencing a life transition such as experiencing a job loss, divorce, etc.
- Elderly and aging
- People with disabilities and their families
- People in need of spiritual guidance
Through our Stephen Ministry, Stephen Ministers are able to work together with our pastoral staff to reach more people who are in need. Care-receivers can expect to receive quality Christian care, while they deepen their relationship with God. Many experience a deeper desire to participate in a Christian community in and through their experience with Stephen Ministers. Our Stephen Ministry says to our community that we are a place where people’s needs are important and we care deeply about meeting the needs of the community as a Christian community.
The mission of HUMC’s Children’s Ministries is to create and support a church environment where children experience God’s love and become Christian disciples.
Heritage supports children on their journey of faith by encouraging biblical learning, nurturing spiritual growth, providing opportunities for service and fellowship and inviting and welcoming everyone to share in the Christian experience.

We have a variety of opportunities for all ages and abilities. Choir members at Heritage enjoy Christian fellowship while growing both musically and spiritually. There are no auditions required; only a sincere desire to serve God through music. We invite you and your family to become a part of our dynamic Music Ministries.
