reStart is an Interfaith Ministry for the people who are homeless. Heritage volunteers provide meals to a homeless shelter in Kansas City, Mo., quarterly. Menu items are collected from the congregation and served at the shelter.
Ronald McDonald Family Room at Children’s Mercy Hospital
Volunteers from Heritage will provide dinner to the parents of ill children at Children’s Mercy Hospital in the Ronald McDonald’s family room.
Dates for 2011: June 26, September 25, and October 30.
