Listening and serving the needs of our Heritage United Methodist Church community is what we do in Congregational Care. This ministry offers encouragement, practical support and prayer to people in need.
WELCOME HOME BASKETS
When someone from Heritage is hospitalized overnight, a member of the Congregational Care Team makes a visit with a basket of treats after they return home. Welcome Home baskets are filled with food, health care items and fun treats from church members. Please let us know when you are aware someone needs a basket.
MEALS MINISTRY
Church volunteers prepare meals to be served to families following funerals. We also make meals for those who have extended illnesses. If you like to cook and prepare food, please contact Congregational Care to volunteer. We need you!
CARD MINISTRY
Sending a get well or sympathy card to someone who is recovering or grieving is a wonderful way to reach out in the name of Christ. If you would like to serve in this area, just contact Congregational Care.
NEW BABY VISITS
Please let us know when there’s a new baby to celebrate in the church family.
