Pumpkins for Missions & All Church Tailgate Party

This Sunday, September 24th !!!

Come help us unload our annual pumpkins for Missions truck after

The Sporting and Chiefs games will

be on the big TV to watch along with activities and games for the whole family to enjoy!

Let’s make a day of it on the front lawn and show our Heritage Spirit!

Interfaith Hospitality Network

Volunteer Training

September 30th from 9:30-11:30am.

IHN serves situational homeless families of Johnson County by providing them a “hand up” vs. a “hand out”.  Families stay at host congregations that provide overnight accommodations and meals for homeless families for one week at a time, 4 times a year.

Heritage is proud to serve as a host congregation and will be hosting the families the week of October 8th.  Volunteer opportunities include

preparing and serving the evening meal, playing games with the kids, visiting with the adults, and/or serving as an overnight host.

Contact Jen Magee at 913-998-2847 or at jenmagee10@gmail.com

to sign up or stop by the table in Fellowship Hall.
